Im running in this election because I believe that we, the people, need representation and on June 4, 2011 I was declared the official NDP candidate. I am a staunch believer that government is by the people, for the people. In my acceptance speech I said that every decision I make at Queens Park is representative of the people of Dufferin-Caledon and I meant it.

Being a former small business owner it makes complete sense to me to cut the small business tax rate by two percentage points from 11% to 9% while raising corporate income tax rate  from 16.5% to 19.5%, bringing it in line to 2008 levels, ensuring it remains below the U.S. rate to keep Canada competitive.
